When you've cleared out the demons and the mages, head West and up the stairs. If you didn't convince Clarel that Erimond is using her, then you'll also have to kill the Warden Warriors as well during this fight. Having the Warden warriors on your side will make this fight a lot easier. Best not to have your entire party grouped together because of this. You can't hurt the dragon though, so just ignore it and try to dodge the fireballs when you can. You'll also have the dragon flying overhead shooting fireballs at you periodically. You'll have to take out a Pride Demon and the mages. Clarel will order the Wardens to aid you, but the Warden mages will already be under Corypheus's influence. Clarel will realize that she has been duped by Erimond and chase after him, but not before Corypheus's dragon shows up. Alternatively, if you have unlocked the Inquisition Perk - Historian Knowledge, you'll get a special dialogue option you can use with Clarel to talk her down yourself. You'll have a chance to talk with Clarel and if Blackwall is in the party, he can talk to the Wardens and convince them that what they're doing is wrong. Erimond will be here along with Warden-Commander Clarel. Move ahead to the main courtyard where all of the Wardens are gathered and ready to perform their blood rituals. The next fight is going to be a bit harder. Kill them, descend the stairs, and then make sure to heal up and restock at another supply cache here before moving on. When you head back towards the stairs you previously passed, you'll have to kill a couple more demons. Finish clearing out these enemies to complete the side quest. That way, if your companions start to drop, then you can just run back towards where the building was with the supply cache and either restock or if your party members have died they will resurrect next to you with a sliver of health and you can send them back at the demons. I always find this a little easier to hit the enemies here from a distance. Here there are more shades and another Pride Demon. Head south past some stairs to the last battlement point. I've always told Hawke to just stay and defend the troops. I don't think it really makes much of a difference. Hawke will be in this area and you can tell him/her to join you fighting or to stay and defend the troops. Take out the mages first and then deal with the demon. There will be some warden spellbinders and a Pride Demon here to deal with. When you open the door to the East back out onto the battlements, you will be at the second point. There is a supply cache in this building, but don't touch it yet if you don't need to. Clear out these enemies and then head North into a building. The first area when you get up the stairs includes a rage demon. Clearing out these demons is optional, but it's worthwhile to do so just for the xp. There are three areas on the battlements that have demons you can kill to help the Inquisition to gain a foothold. If you tell them to surrender, then you'll have to kill them too.Ĭontinue moving forward and upwards towards Adamant's battlements. Tell the Wardens here to fall back to safety if you want to avoid some fighting. Take them out and then you'll be able to talk to the Wardens. You can talk some of the Wardens down here, but first you need to deal with the crazy warden mages and some demons. Some of the wardens don't like what is going on. When you get to the Main Bailey, you will hear some Wardens arguing amongst themselves. You'll start off in the Lower Bailey area. |
